To any ballboy of any team that might be winning against Bayern in the future. Do what that Hannover stupid ball boy did against Stuttgart and Jens Lehmann on Saturday. Let's see if BILD will find it so equally amusing and funny, and if they will have the desire of making a celebrity out of the kid. I bet their headlines won't be "The Liga laughs at..."
It's been a long time since I don't rant about Germany's national team.
I watched today's match from minute 20 or something in the first half. They did what they had to do. Get those three points. Nothing more nothing less. I'm not saying it's a bad thing. It's ok *shrugs*
While I was watching I thought about how many of them (the "four" who are in the T-frage) have really proven themselves in a big match or against a humungus team. Amanzingly, none has, Just Manu has had some succes (and a very shinny moment) in the CL. Enke has never played against a big team and with Hannover I don't see that happening any time soon. Wiese has had the chance (a lot of times) and he has screwed all those times. The only time he has done somehting decent, those penalty saves, was against Hamburg, another German club, in the UEFA cup. But when it comes to the moment he has to face a team with "a name" he fails miserably. I don't rememeber René Adler having to face any special moment against a big team. So he hasn't... oh wait, yes, that friendly against England. We know what happened there. So, at the moment I don't see how Jogi it's going to really measure the "four candidates" because the Buli is not enough to do it. Enke won't play CL nor UEFA cup this season, Manu neither, nor Adler. Weise, well let's see what happens with Werder in the CL, or in UEFA if they don't make it there. And to count with just Germany's matches ahead is not really enough if you ask me, because the teams they have to play against are not that big. Ok, they'll play against Russia soon, but they are not that consistent sometimes. Oh and there's a friendly against Brazil. I hope they all consider the honor thing and play in all seriousness. I have to check their match schdule anyway to see if there's any other team ahead of them, but I don't remember any at the moment.
*Tries HARD not to think about a Jens' comeback to the NT* ;)

I'm so proud of this man. El está dentro de lo mejor que ha parido esta patria :D
A pic of him ( when he's not conducting )

Haha, so funny the title of the New York Times for this article: The Kid’s Got Energy. Now Watch Him Conduct.
And that energy is precesily one of his trademarks *g*
To the last part of the article, of course he talks a lot, he's Venezuelan, what did you expect? ;p
Here's a video of Gustavo directing our wonderful Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra (another reason to feel proud) in the Royal Albert Hall:
He's 28, he has directed the Berliner Philharmoniker (as a guest) in the Waldbühne, and recently he was appointed as the Director of Los Angeles Philarmonic *squeezes him*
Edited: Btw, I didn't know Leonard Bernstein's people lent to Gustavo his own conductor's baton when he directed in New York O_O (Berstein died in 1990).

Weeeheeeeeeeeeeeeee! May 9 will be the day of Star Trek premier. Where the heck was I when this trailer came out? ok, ok, in footy world. But still *flails*
Long version trailer:
It's so impressive how Zachary Quinto looks so much like Leonard Nimoy 0_0
Young Jim Kirk looks just as I've imagined him all this time, really handsome (duh), big ego (see the fight?) and very determined, secure and knowing how to save himself (See anyone rescuing him from that cliff as a kid?).
Now I have two things to look forward to in May. Jens' book and Star Trek :D
*Raises hand* Live long and prosper.

¿A esta la mandaron o llegó sola?
I so want to kill things. How on earth would have Jens make this match look worse?! *yells* I just read the reviews. My freaking God! Two goals thanks to two blunders? And better yet, a goal per goalie *wants to choke Jogi and his chosen goalies* I want to watch that match to rant properly >_<
I didn't expect them to be so terrible, honestly. FFS it was England's, what? C-team? (I read the line up) *flails*
There you have it Jogi. You messed it up. There you go Adler, this is what is like to play against a national team with big name (even if they're currently crappy). There you go Wiese... oh wait, you already know what it's like to screw it against a team like that.
Being the Number One for Germany is not like blowing and making a bubble.
Sense of history has gone down the toilet today. But not for England apparently.
P.S.: On a better thought, it was better this way of Jens not playing this match. His last match with the national team was a lost, yes, but a lost in the European Championship final. And he was the best German in that pitch that day. Head high I say.
P.P.S.: By no means I would prefer Wiese over Adler (I don't know why and how is greasy-Wiese in Germany's NT) of course. But this is a moment where Adler gets to see there are downs. Bitter downs. And some stupid journos shut up for a moment and stop their without base praise.

Whatever Jogi's dicision today, I think Bastian would be a good choice as captain. The biggest need of the German team is gaining its team spirit, first in the cabin. That's the more important place so they can deliver in the pitch. Tell me how is your cabin, I'll tell you what's the state of your team. Bastian has the right atittude in my opinion.
Germany's quality is there. They need someone to boost their positiveness, not someone who keeps thinking he's the center of the world and that everybody should summit to his desire. They need a leader, not a do-you-know-who-I-am? person.

If Micha was so pissed after the Croatia match and the final it should have been about himself because he didn't do what it was expected of him. Organize, distribute and sending the team upfront. He wasted time yelling at the ref at the final and fighting unnecessarily at the last two minutes of the match instead of picking the freaking ball up and die with his boots on and try... something. Anything. It was just.one.freaking.goal.
Damnit. I'm still pissed and it's not over for me because I didn't see any fighting spirit. Yes, Spain was much better, they played better, but what made them look even more superior was the lack of compromise from Germany. Grrrrrrr.
I love the boys, I love German national team, I've always defended Micha as a captain. They always put up the fight even when they don't have it all with them, and Micha has always been that kind of captain that no matter if he himself can't fully deliver as scorer but has always been there for the team spirit on the pitch. And these things are exactly what drive me mad about the final and Croatia. No desire from the team and no commanding spirit from Micha.
Bloody Bild and FAZ.net should shut up and stop victimizing Micha. Yes, the eternal second place, but this time he could have done more. And the rest too of course. But the point here is the victimizing from the media.
Now, I hope the boys, all of them, from the players to the directive, really make things work and play well and really deliver in WC 2010. I don't want this particular generation of the DFB to tear apart and the stupid gossips to continue. I love this team too much for it and it would be terrible. It's enough that I have to get used to the idea of Jens not being part of it anymore (which I understand his desicion more and more everyday btw. And yes, it was the right one. But I still miss him there).
*Breaths*

I wonder if Andy has this expression in his face because he's already missing Jens? I feel the void already *pouts*

The boys better pulled out a great game tomorrow, I need a cheer up. And they owe us after the EM final, so, wake up boys!
I send all the good vibes to Robert btw. I cringed today when I saw Wiese in the training pics >.

Noohoooo, why Jogi? why??? Tim Wiese neu im Kader??
Damnit, just when I was going to finally watch René in German goal to see if the kid has in reality what that position needs and if he can fill Jens's big shoes in German NT he suffers an injury. Guh! I hope he gets well soon.
ANd what's worse, Jogi had to call that Tim Wiese guy *tears hair* I never thought there would be a goalie in Germany's NT that I would dislike this much. I don't like Kahn but at least I respect the guy, but Wiese? *bangs head against the wall*
P.S.: Little Manuel Neuer better recover soon from his injury because if Wiese is going to be the third choice we're doom. Just imagine Germany is playing a crucial match and for some reason he's playing and the guy screws up big time like he did with Werder against Juventus in the Champions League *facepalm*

Venezuela 2 - Brazil 0...... Venezuela 2 - Brazil 0
Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, esto pasa a la historia. Yo se, es nada más un amistoso, pero, Woooohooooooo es Brazil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dunga will be bashed big time now. But I couldn't care less *jumps* Brazil was so absent and my boys stood so well, and better yet, they were capable of maintaining the calm knowing the significance of the score. This is history! And I watched it happening!!!!!!!!! *is in a cloud*
What a shame for Brazil, I can only imagine the headlines in every paper, at least here in South America.
La Vinotinto! La Vinotinto! La Vinotinto! La Vinotinto! La Vinotinto! ^_____^
Y ahora si, que venga la Euro. Ahora si puedo celebrar cada gol de Alemania sin remordimiento de conciencia por apoyar otra selección a parte de la mía.
Now I can celebrate every German goal in the Euros without remorse for supporting another national team other than my own:D
P.S.: Oh yes, and Brazil played with: Dani Alves (Sevilla), Gilberto Silva (Arsenal), Robinho (Real Madrid), Diego (Werder Bremen), Anderson (Manchester United), Elano (Manchester City), Doni (Roma)... Same team that will face Argentina and Paraguay in a few days. Just Kaká (too important for his own national team) and Ronaldinho (flame extiguishing and too important for his own national team) are missing.

Why people doesn't understand it's about football and not about how pretty/hot the damn fanfics will be?
And why people who doesn't like a person still stay related or in connection to him(her). They just have to make themselves a favour and leave (the relation or whatever). I don't like Oliver Kahn, so I don't sign myself in one of his forums.
Where's the logic? Has it abandoned people these days?
I could just turn my head but I dislike dishonesty so much... damn my verticality *kicks self*
P.S.: And what did people expect? Are there better people for the job? Damn human custom of criticizing just because.
With this, it's more than two questions, I know *too lazy for changing the title*

Oh my Goooooooooooooooood *jumps up and down and scream like nuts* I'm just getting home and when I turned the tv on the first I saw it's Shal 0 - Port 1 / 116. This was the replay of course, but I didn't have time to check the live-ticker today. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw they were playing extra time. After that, there I was biting my nails (sort of) nervous for little Manu because the penalty shot out came. Awwww mi mascotica. He deserves a huge smooch from Jens on Saturday *nods*
( Here's some Manu celebration. )
And the best thing is that he didn't just stop those two penalties but he also was flawless through out the 120 minutes of the match.
The future of goalkeeping for the German national team is briiiiiiight! ^__^
P.S.: The Chelsea match is being transmitted now and Micha scored the first goal. This has been a good day for Germany :D

"Space, the final frontier... ", Leonard Nimoy's voice gave me goose's skin (I don't know if it has the same meaning as in spanish). Just to see how the Enterprise was built makes me want it to be December already ^_^
P.S.: I sincerely hope it ends up being a good movie.
... at least one of those principles does: "A lie repeated a thousand times turns out to be true".
I was highly annoyed when I had to hear the Argentinians commentators from FoxSports today saying that Capello wants Almunia to get the citizenship to make him England's number one, when the truth is that it has been Almunia himself who has been claiming (since two years ago) that he would want to be an english citizen to become England's goalkeeper. As far as I know Capello has never done a move to call him nor haven't said anything about his preference with the Spaniard.
I know life is unfair and more terrible things happen, but it doesn't mean that this won't annoy me anyway.

Peter Jackson will do "The Hobbit!
*hugs Peter and Fran* Now my only question is, who will direct them? o_0
P.S.: Ermm, two movies? The Hobbit is not that long. Are they planning to introduce some parts from "The Silmarillion"? 0_o

And Chavez, please SHUT UP! You lost, don't play it now like you're the most democrat of all human beings because you are not.

These are the four groups for the Euro 2008.
Group A:
Switzerland
Czech Republic
Portugal
Turkey
Group B:
Austria
Croatia
Germany
Poland
Group C:
Netherlands
Italy
Romania
France
Group D:
Greece
Sweden
Spain
Russia
Klinsi's hand didn't harm Germany and pulled out Croatia for group B. You can never take things for granted (much less in football. The ball is round) but I think Germany has pretty good chances for going to the next stage. Croatia might be a surprise there though.
Obviously the group of death is Group C. Such a little place to be o.0 They will kill each other, and I'll seat happily and enjoy the show >:) Raymond Domenech didn't look happy at all btw *g*
Note: It was so good to see José Carreras again. His hair is all grey now *smiles and sighs* Time goes by.
